Omg, this looks so cool. It looks cool because than the cast won't smell and your skin won't be dry and gross. It also says this can heal the bones up to 80% faster than most casts. If this thing does what it says it does, than there shouldn't be a problem in at least trying it out.

Oh my God this is so cool, because it will help your bone heal 80% faster and it will also make your skin less itchy and gross when you are wearing the cast. You are also able to shower with it on without a bag because it is waterproof, it is also a lot easier to get on and off so you don't have to go to the doctor to get it on and off. The only problem is the way it looks, it looks like a spiderweb; which I personally wouldn't want on my arm.

You really don't NEED to have people sign your cast. It's just a friendly thing to do and not a requirement. This new cast is for just for medical and comfort improvement. If you still really want someone to sign your 3D printed cast you could probably just grab a silver sharpie and write on it.

I have always wanted to break a bone or at least have a cast. Everyone I know that has had one say it isn't as cool as I think. They tell me that it gets sweaty, it can't get wet, and your skin gets flaky. So everything they said maid my mind change a little, but know that I've seen this new cast it solves everything that my friends were saying and what they said in the video. I think it sounds like a great idea, and I'm looking forward to seeing if it will actually work 80% faster than a regular cast would!

I think the regular cast looks a lot better then the new one. I have never broken a bone in my life so I don't know what the struggle is with regular casts, but it sounds like the new cast will help hair growth not grow so fast and no skin with dry up and become flaky because the holes in the new cast. Then it won't become so itchy. The new cast over all better then the regular one.

I think that this is a really cool idea. It heals 80% faster and looks a lot more comfortable considering you feel less tempted to itch. However, its not exactly the most fashionable and it could leave weird marks on your skin when you take it off and that might not be something you'd want. You also couldn't have your friends sign it (as said in the video) but that doesn't really have too much effect of how good it works. if i ever broke my arm, I'd probably considering wearing this instead of the traditional cast but there are a couple things to consider.

I think it is a cool idea. To me what they said in the video makes scense, because it is water proof so it can get wet and not smell bad and not itch. It will not itch and smell bad because it can get wet and air can get to in the holes. To me I thought that the other kind of cast would make heal faster because it has more protection because it is all coverd.

I beileve that this is a great step forword in the medical field. This new cast can heal your bone 80% faster then it would with a normal cast. So you can get back to doing activities you enjoy! The best part is its water proof so no more plastic bags in the shower and no body oder smell you can't get rid of without wrecking your cast. Another nice thing about it is that it looks cool and it would make you wanna wear it if you ever broke a bone. It looks like it would be way more comfortable to wear too so it wont be as painful and annoying. Maybe they might even start printing cast for legs too.

I think that this new design of the cast would help in many ways. With the traditional cast you can't get it wet, nor do you have air ventilation so the skin becomes very dry, but with the new cast that will change. The new 3-d printed cast is water proof so you can go swimming and take a shower without having to wear a plastic bag. It also has the benefit of when taken off it will leave your skin moist and not have dry skin and the stinky body odor. Over all I think the most important trait of the new cast is that heals the broken bone/bones 80% faster than the traditional cast.

I think it is a good idea because then are arms wont stink. We also wont have to put a plastic bag over our arms while showering. The only thing that is disappointment is that we cant write our names on the cast and if we do it would have to be really tiny to the point were we cant even see it.

I did some more research and found that the 3D printed cast is only 3 millimeters thick. I've had a cast before and I'm sure it was 1-3 centimeters. And I found that the cast will be able to come in any color that plastic can come in. Which essentially means any pattern or color.

I think that this is a great idea for healing broken bones. My questions are how they would get the cast on? You can't just slip on the cast because you would have the risk of someone taking the cast off. If there were little connectors that went into the holes above them the plastic would have to bend. You also cannot just print it right onto the arm because the plastic has to be hot to melt and mold, that could give you blisters. I thought that they should have touched on this in the article to give us more of an idea on how it works.

I think that the cast really cool because you can still sign it with all the spaces in it. Also it's water prof so don't have to wear a bag over your cast. I also think it would be even better if it could cure other things than just broken arms.

I think that this new cast is a really cool invention. I think it is very clever. All of the features from the old cast is improved in the new cast exept for the sighning part. I think that I would buy it though because I don't want a sweaty, flaky, hairy arms after I take the cast off. I would also want to buy it becuase it heals imensly faster. I wonder if thier going to sell this or not?

Me being the only person who actually is anywhere towards knowing how it actually is, besides Jack, this is revolutionary. I mean, my mom actually had a cast, but it was on her leg. Maybe they could make one for legs as well...? Well, point is, this isn't exactly a "Cool!" sittuation. It's actually useful for people whon have broken bones, yet everyone acts like it's the new iPhone 6 or something. People, it's actually supposed to be used for poeple who need it, not people who want to be fashionable.
